Cardiac electrophysiologist
Dr Daryl Ridley is a cardiologist and electrophysiologist with more than 20 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and syncope. He provides comprehensive general cardiology care with a particular focus on heart rhythm disorders, pacemaker therapy, defibrillator implantation and catheter ablation.
Dr Ridley undertook advanced electrophysiology and device training in Australia and internationally, including training at the University of Western Ontario under renowned electrophysiologist Dr George Klein. He has extensive expertise in the management of complex cardiac rhythm conditions and the use of advanced cardiac device technologies.
He has played a major role in introducing subcutaneous defibrillator (S-ICD) and leadless pacemaker technology to the Geelong region, helping expand access to innovative cardiac care locally.
Dr Ridley is committed to delivering patient-focused care with an emphasis on clear and understandable communication, thoughtful investigation and contemporary treatment options.
